Viaduct Cupuneddi SS131, Nuoro- Sassari

CUSTOMER IRCES 95

Supply and installation of the Cupuneddi viaduct for the State Road No. 131 between San Simone and San Teodoro, which connects the provinces of Nuoro and Sassari. First category road bridge, consisting of upper and lower bridles, thorn beam and bracing consisting of angles and welded compounds. The whole metal structure is in Corten steel.
Furthermore, the predalles slabs have been installed. In the execution of the two viaducts, all the structures' flagship launch systems were designed and studied.
 

The metal structures have the following dimensions:

Cupuneddi VIADUCT
  • structure length = about 63.60 mt (each span)
  • structure width = about 12.70 mt (each carriageway)
  • n ° spans = 10
  • total length of metallic structure = about 636 mt

Finosa VIADUCT
  • structure length = about 70.00 mt (each span)
  • structure width = about 10.95 mt (each carriageway)
  • n ° spans = 3
  • total length of metallic structure = about 180 m
The on-site assembly was carried out as follows:

Cupuneddi VIADUCT

Assembly of the bridge segments on a launch yard served by a 90 ton construction and telescopic crane. Point launching by means of a crowbar, sledges, temporary piles and motorized winch; of which n ° 2 varies from the square of launching to shoulder 1, n ° 2 various from the square of launching to shoulder 2 with completion junction metal segments on the square of launching through crane trucks.

Finosa VIADUCT

Assembly of the bridge segments on a launch yard served by a 90 ton construction and telescopic crane. Point launching by means of a forearm, sledges, temporary piles and a motorized winch. From shoulder to shoulder.
