Viaduct on the Taro river - Fontevivo, Trecasali (PR)
CUSTOMER PIZZAROTTI & C. S.p.A. The viaduct over the Taro river, located between the Municipalities of Fontevivo and Trecasali, is divided into two separate carriageways, each with a total length of 1936.8 m. Each carriageway is composed of two viaducts with a static continuous beam pattern on several supports, both seismically isolated. For the deck the use of a seismic insulation system obtained by introducing a pair of curved double-surface sliding insulators on each pole-top and on the shoulders is envisaged. The deck is transversely stiffened through the use of diaphragms: this solution allows it to be considered transversely torsion-rigid, and therefore can be schematized by means of a single-line model. The viaduct is completed by reinforced concrete piles based on plinths resting on poles. The batteries have a box section and variable height. IN CONSTRUCTION |
