Taio BRIDGE – Trento
CUSTOMER Taio Scarl Supply and installation of metal structures for bridges, located in Taio (TN) as described below: RIO VALLE The bridge is formed by a single arch-frame girder, total light of 110.91 meters. To support the two shoulders, two inclined trestles have been positioned (consisting of an upper, lower and core plate (2 + 2) connected together with tubular elements made of sheet metal), which are connected to the lower platform of the bridge segments. The bridge is braced horizontally both in intrados and extrados. The section of the upper deck is composed of three main T-beams with a full core, placed at 4.00 + 4.00 m of wheelbase, with a minimum height of 1.50 at the shoulders. The beams are joined together by bracing placed in the vertical plane (diaphragms) and in the horizontal plane (upper and lower bracing). The main beams are divided into nine segments of variable length. The main joints between the various segments of the beam are welded, with complete recovery. The remaining joints are bolted type, with high strength bolts. The steel structures will be made of Cor-Ten type self-protected steel The bridge was considered a first category. OVERPASS WITH THREE CAMPS Supply and installation of three-span overpasses, each consisting of 4 700 mm high steel beams connected transversely by solid core diaphragms consisting of double T profiles with a height of 450 mm.
